The Smashing Pumpkins have officially reunited. According to the Smashing Pumpkins Web site, “It’s official. The Smashing Pumpkins are currently writing songs for their upcoming album, their first since 2000.”

Tool’s newest offering, 10,000 days, has founds its way into the hard drives of its most loyal fans. It was only a matter of time before the album was leaked, as the release date for the bands follow-up to 2001′s multi-platinum Lateralus. Five years ago, Lateralus debuted at Billboard #1 album. The first single off 10,000 days, the 7-minute long “Vicarious”, hit radios early this week.
